Notes and stories:
I planted two double knockout roses in the front yard in summer 2020. For some reason, the buds kept getting knocked out (or sometimes eaten) by animals who are not afraid of the thorns. I decided to move one of them to the backyard and tried to protect it with a cone-shape garden fence and a layer of bird net on top. It was a wise move :).
The photo of a rose at the bottom of each page was taken using the “portrait” mode of the iPhone. Focusing on the rose had an unexpected effect of blurring the stem, so that the rose appeared to be floating in the air.

the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
